Design Notes: A church in Northeast Portland wanted to create a 24-hour interactive prayer room in their building, and invited Kim to join a broader planning & design team. Since the goal was to create different prayer opportunities that resonated with a wide variety of people, working with a team was helpful as we each approached the project with varying perspectives. The team planned furniture, colors, and textures in a peaceful palette and created a variety of creative prayer-based activities with the hope that each visitor would engage prayer in a new and interesting way.
